Abstract

Cardiac myxomas are rarely seen. Although they are benign cardiac tumors but potentially malignant by their localization. A 79 year old woman patient was admitted with complaint of positional vertigo that started six months ago. After a detailed physical examinaiton, we showed a huge myxoma that lead to obstruction on the left entrance and exit ways in left atrium by echocardiography. Therefore, in all the cases that define positional vertigo, myxoma should be taken into consideration in differential diagnosis and performed echocardiography.
